We updated the tech from 433MHz to 1st 2.4G generation and now 2nd Bluetooth 2.4G generation. The new 2nd Bluetooth 2.4G ESL has more advantages, such as:

3. It has more dimensions, ranging from 1.54 '' to 13.3 '', more than 30 models.

What is Electronic Shelf Label?

An electronic shelf label (ESL) system is used by retailers for displaying product pricing on shelves. The product pricing is automatically updated whenever a price is changed from a central control server. Typically, electronic display modules are attached to the front edge of retail shelving.

How does ESL system work?

1. The headquarters server sends the new price to the base stations of every store wirelessly by network, and then the base stations sends data to each Electronic Shelf Label to update the product information and pricing.

2. Base Station: Receive data from server first, then send data to the designated Electronic Shelf Labels by Bluetooth 2.4GHz communication frequency.

3. Electronic Shelf Label: Used to display product information, price, etc. on the shelves.

4. Handhelf PDA: Used by supermarket internal staff to scan the product barcode and electronic price label ID, so as to bind the product and electronic price label quickly.

Wireless Bluetooth 2.4GHz Base Station (AP Access Point)

One base station can connect unlimited number of ESL price tags. The coverage radius of the base station indoors is 15+ meters, depending on whether there are any obstructions. In an open outdoor environment, the coverage radius of the base station can reach 30 meters.

Software

Network software for ESL Digital Price Tag System

There is one software for ESL system. The software is suitable for both singe store and chain stores. You can use the software to update the price at the store locally, or change the price at anywhere and anytime remotely. ESL free software account for testing is available. 

A Linux/ Cloud server is needed to install it.

Can be integrated into POS/ERP system, and then update the price automatically, API for ESL software is available.      

Can work with a PDA.

If you don't use our ESL software or you want to develop your own software, you can integrate our base station (Access Point) to your system directly by our middleware program (API for base statio) or SDK (Core Basic Information).

    A: ESL price tags use non-rechargeable button battery (CR2450) and the battery life is about 5 years. Customers can buy the battery in local easily and replace battery by themselves.

    A: A single base station can cover unlimited number of price tags, and has 15+ meters radius coverage area. 

6. Q: How does base station supply power?

    A: Base station is powered via AC adapter. 

7. Q: What transmission technology do you use?
